Keep an eye out for corrosion on these. I ordered sets of 2057R red LEDs, 1156A amber LEDs, and 1156 6000k white LEDs. Both the amber and red packs came with some sort of corrosion (see the photos), probably due to improper storage.I was lazy to send them back for replacements, so I cleaned them up with a wire brush/steel wool/brillo pad and hit them with a touch of dialectic grease to delay further corrosionAs for performance, they are very good: at least 1.5x the brightness and 2x the clarity of the old incandescent bulbs. The price is also very reasonable, especially compared to older incandescent bulbs.Also: be sure to match the LED color to the color of the lens. A red LED will perform miles better in a red lens than a white LED.

Plenty bright. But the plastic body interfered with the socket, making it very difficult to insert the base fat enough into the base to lock into place.Also, I seem to require an additional ballast to stop the hyperflash. Sylvania says these are compatible with most vehicles without any additional work. I guess I'm just not that lucky.

Bulbs worked as advertised. However, were NOT recognised by the bulb sensor. Granted, the manufacturer makes it clear that this a possibility, they also imply a low likelihood.If you are look to try LED over filament, be prepared to swap back or make some modifications, (eg. wiring in a resistor from a $7 kit)
