First this is a quality suit, you can tell by the drawstring. Not the usual little string that is hard to tie//untie but a serious cord. A very nice feature. As for sizing, I actually dropped a size from my old suit. I am in between sizes, large and XL. I decided to go with the large for a snugger fit. And they are noticeably smaller, where I really notice it is they are about 2 inches shorter in length. But that may be due to going with the smaller size. They are snug but very comfortable with no restricted movement. So I would say the size chart is true to size. If someone is on the edge of 2 sizes I would recommend going with the larger size. The material is fantastic, moves well, dries so quick and feels thicker or better quality material than any of my past suits. I can tell this suit will last. Another outstanding Synergy product!!
