Lets get something straight. The suit itself lives up to the reviews that are posted and ensures all of this athleticism is tightly packed into a waterproof package. I do not have any aspirations of becoming the next olympic triathlete. Rather, my aspirations begin and end with bing able to get into, and out of the suit, which is prominently determined by two factors; 1 - if my body is willing to fit, and 2 - if the lanyards tensile strength will hold up to the pulling force that is equivalent to a puppy engaged in a sporting game of tug-a-war.The latest failure was the absolute best, if I must say. I had just squeezed myself into the boa-constrictor skin and was in the process of zipping myself up, when the lanyard once again gave out. Not at the bottom, not in the middle, but right at the apex of my pull. The sheer amount of panic that set in was simply due to the fact that I was not sure how I was going to get myself out of the suit, without asking a passing gentlemen if he could ever so kindly unzip me like I was a cheap date. With the use of a locker handle, and some much needed stretching, I managed to unzip and free myself of the plastic wrap suit, which I'm sure from an outsider point of view looked like a bear scratching his back. But doing so in a panic.Going forward, this suit needs a more sound lanyard with a clip that will hold up to a bit of pulling.

I have trouble getting a good fit down thru my thighs. The correct size up top for trisuits and swim skins often lead to the leg openings being just a little to loose. Not on this. Great fit and high quality materials throughout.

UPDATE:Ok after several attempts at putting this thing on alone I have come to the conclusion that this thing is “premium price” for less than premium product! Honestly I’ve bought several synergy items all of witch are just not really that good. The leg openings are too big and the zipper is just garbage. This will be my 4th and lady Synergy purchase! Save your money and get one of the reputable brands or make sure you always have someone with you.Wish it were a little easier going on. It’s not bad at all to take off alone. As far as fit it it’s great. I gave it a test swim in the lake and it was great

I wrote the same review for the Synergy Swimskin 3. I bought the Synergy 2 and 3 in small, medium, and large sizes. I had to return the small and medium ones.I'm 5' 9" and weight 150 lbs (that's 175cm / 68 kg). I'm fit and muscular but by no means huge in any way. I usually wear small/medium Tshirts. The Synergy swimskin 2 and 3 series small/medium run small. They do not fit me despite the fact that I'm within the weight and height range in their sizing chart. I had to buy and return the small and medium versions of the swimskin 2 AND swimskin 3 to find that out. I finally settled on Swimskin 3 large. This fits quite snuggly. If you're any bigger than me you need to get XL or XXL.The only difference between the 2 and 3 is the sleeves. Both are good swimskins.
