love that it has a snug fit, and that flies can not crawl under it to horses eyes. It has soft custion if spots where might rub on horse, and the dark mesh seems to keep suns rays out. I say the because our mule doesn't try to take the mask off, and he is expert in removing masks. He had been hiding in shadowed barn until got mask now he is out and about. So assume sunlight not reaching hios eyes.
