Functional but will not work with the HDMI splitter. You must connect directly to your computer to work. Decent range and was easy to set up.

This product does its job and it displays video at 1080p@60hz over wireless connection. It does have some noticeable lag time of about 300-500ms, which is acceptable for my use case. It may or may not fit your needs. The transmission range is struggling to reach 100 ft as claimed in product description, which is a bit disappointing. After several tests in different environments, it can reliably reach maybe 30 ft or so (straight line of sight, no walls) with acceptable latency (1s) and will cause intermittent connection. If you live in an area with WiFi congestion issue, expect the working range to be further reduced. The product needs to be powered by USB on both TX/RX ends.

After first order was lost due to "weather" I finally got a replacement, that was also late. Inside package had been stepped on repeatedly. 1 USB C cable (2 incl) was DOA. Both units (RX/TX) got very hot, refused to pair, then paired and shut off repeatedly. I disconnected it from my PC and am now writing this. Return for refund? What a joke. Amazon logistics has gone downhill recently, dramatically.

Not sure why the other reviews are not 5-stars. You're transmitting HDMI wirelessly - at 1080 - with relatively NO lag time (we've even played the XBOX using this setup) and they're complaining it's not at 4k? I am pleased - no, DELIGHTED - that this works so well, and so easily! I used to work IT several years ago and had to setup offices for video streaming, etc - and if I would have had this, I would have been a rockstar! Times change and so does technology, and this is a great way to quickly get HDMI from one place to another instead of using a cable. I love that I can have these two small dongles in my laptop bag and be able to connect to anything, anywhere, that accepts HDMI. Even Mini-HDMI as it comes with the adapters. And the USB power cords are SHORT because they're made to connect to the TV USB for power (usually right next to the HDMI port you're plugging into) or the laptop you're transmitting from (usually a spare USB port near the HDMI OUT). SO, if you're reading this, and you are looking for a quick, easy way to always be able to port your 1080 output to a monitor/projector/etc - at up to 100ft away - this is a great option to have.

This was very easy to set up on my laptop. The image and sound are clear with my computer being 20 feet from the TV. My only regret is that my tablet PC does not support HDMI. Well worth the price.

I acquired this wireless HD extender kit for use in two applications:1. to mirror my computer display on a flat-screen TVThe first application was accomplished easily. I plugged the transmitter (TX) into my laptop and the receiver (RX) into a flat-screen TV. The effect was immediate; what was showing on my computer immediately transferred to the big screen. Before I powered the transmitter on, the receiver placed an image on the TV with a schematic showing possible setups and a QR code for additional information. I didn't need the assist but appreciated the gesture.2. to send audio/video from a camera (cinema camera in this case) to a computer and/or a monitor. My second application was far more complex but also turned out well (suprizingly so, I thought). This time, I connected the transmitter to a cinema camera to send the live feed to a computer monitor.I wasn't sure this would work, but it did so beyond my expectations.I awarded 5 stars (because the product seems that good), but should point out that it arrived missing the mini-HDMI and micro-HDMI adapters promised in the description of it. I needed the micro adapter, so had to purchase that separately.Overall, this wireless HDMI signal extender—comprised of powered transmitter and receiver units—was extremely easy to setup; I didn't need to use the manual and, so far, has worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with it.

If you’re looking for a way to be rid of cords and not want to do display over Bluetooth which doesn’t always sync up, then this is the way. It is super pricey though so I’m not sure it’s worth the cost over a cord. I guess it just depends on your preference. The con is the usb cable it comes with. I didn’t realize I needed to also have an hdmi and sub cable plugged in at the same time to have these work. The usb cable is too short so you’ll have to find one that’s longer. Also the picture and sound quality was just okay. I just tried my laptop to lg tv and played YouTube vid and maybe I’ll have to play around with the settings for the picture quality to look better but it did appear to be playing at 1080p and sound was in sync. This is just too costly for me to endorse to anyone especially when needing to find your own usb cords since these are too short
