I've bought the product before, the first one I bought worked really well. However, during installation, one of the wing nuts broke off of the arm extending from the base. I barely even twisted it. In order to get a a replacement, I was told I would have to ship the broken item back. I think that's ridiculous. I already paid for the product. Why should I pay for gas or spend my time taking a product to a drop off location? You are the company that gave me a faulty product that doesn't operate the way that it was supposed to. I can literally take pictures of the item and exactly where it broke as proof that I should get an item to replace it. And then if I don't return the broken item. They will charge me another amount of money for this mount. Crazy!.

This ipad holder has a few really important strengths.The suction cup is sticky and has a seriously strong grip. Once locked down it feels it will go nowhere.The arms can be adjusted in many directions. They too hold well. Finally the spring loaded arms that hold the tablet itself are rubber coated and fairly strongly loaded also. This the table is going nowhere.Iโm using it on my boat and have used it inside the cabin and on the rear window outside. Despite movement and slamming waves it has never fallen off or even shifted position. This is the best holder I have owned and the only pitfall is that it is thick and somewhat bulky. But that is how they made it so sturdy I suppose. Great product that I am very happy with.

I got it to set at our boat dashboard and have my iPad on it to be able to guide me on the boat map app. Itโs sturdiness, has stability to hold on to the boat dashboard and has great suction. So far itโs good and safe and never fell off.

This item was purchased for a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV Premium instead of a truck because of the durable look of the product and its many ways to mount. After using it for a year, it began to lose suction, and despite cleaning the windshield and the suction piece itself, it could not be restored to the point where one could depend upon it. Also, when it would fall off the windshield, it was heavy enough to cause harm if one happened to be in the area where it fell. This would work much better in a truck (for which it was intended) without taking up so much visibility.

I so wanted this to work for my TCL Tab 8 tablet. I recently started driving for Uber, and I wanted to use a tablet to make it easier to use the app. Especially while driving. Instead, it sticks for a while, then falls off the dash randomly, usually when I have a passenger in the car, and I'm navigating to drop them off. I have tried different configurations, but it has fallen off the dash each time. Does not matter. I could usually get it to stay for at least a few days before falling off again, but today, no matter how firmly I tried to adhere it to my dash, it kept falling. Over and over and over again. I give up. I've thrown it into the garage, and it will soon be in the garbage.
