I've seen a lot of these generic indoor fire pits pop up lately. There are a handful of the more reputable brands you'll find here on Amazon, such as Colsen, City Bonfire, and my personal favorite, Lovingflame. Lovinflame in particular is the one that I'd give a five star rating to; it's much pricier than this one, but its technology is much more advanced and is much more clean-burning, odorless, and wind resistant.This product is pretty typical of the "generic" brands. There's not much in terms of technology to talk about; it's a few metal parts and a few glass parts that fit together. While the materials seem pretty well made, I doubt there are more than $10 worth of materials here. Worse, while they fit together okay, what looks like a nice contiguous glass box in the product photo is really just four panes of glass sticking up from the metal and not joined together in any way.I was also disappointed that fuel didn't come with the unit. I ended up buying a bottle of MoonSoil BioEthanol on Amazon for a pretty reasonable price.The worst part of all was the documentation. This is a product where I really want someone to talk me through all the details; details of the fuel I can use, how to put the wick in, how to fill it, and how to light it. Instead, it just gives the most basic and obvious of answers. The pictures are so tiny that they're pretty much useless. Worse, you can tell that someone phoned it in at some point: they say to fill the fuel to the MAX FILL line (for the life of me, I can't find a MAX FILL line) and they say to put the flame out with a fire extinguisher. Also, there are gems like "Do not pleasce fuelaround rhe stove". Really?My best advise is to just use common sense and definitely don't let kids near it unattended. I'll grant that "it works" and it looks quite nice when it does. But for a product like this I'd really appreciate little more hand-holding through the documentation.

Very happy with the firepit. I got the stainless steel one. I read the reviews, some were very helpful, some were just long winded and not to helpful till the last paragraph.

The house I own doesn't have a fireplace, and this little tabletop burner gives a great feeling in my living room at night. I was unable to purchase the fuel locally -- due to crazy California laws!! However, Amazon came through as usual and was able to ship the bioethanol to me. Thank goodness. I wish the flames would burn longer, however. It will only hold so much of the fuel.

It’s beautiful but not safe for indoor I only filled half way and it went out of control I am lucky that it didn’t burn up my house I did burn my hand due to it
