I do PA for the local high school; they have a loose bluetooth mic, no mic stand, so I bought this one to bring with me, Folds down small to fit in my bag. Inexpensive, holds the mic well, good adjustability; I noticed no stability issues. Was a good addition to my announcing kit.

It's a pretty good table mic stand. Only drawback is that the mic must be oriented over one of the three legs to reduce the likelihood of tipping over. This limits how close to the edge of the table it can be placed, keeping the mic farther away from the user than might be desired.

Been looking for a way to mic up a low to the floor combo amp in close quarters without the use of a cumbersome, too big boom stand or having to hoist the amp up on a chair or amp stand so that a conventional sized mic stand could be used. It's about a simple as it can get here, and that's part of the beauty of it. Just a tripod mounted short mic stand that goes right where I need it to. can be raised or lowered a bit and will stay in place via the sturdy feeling adjusting screw. Of course another application for a stand like this would be sitting right on a desktop or table for a quick extra mic for podcasting or what have you. Comes with the conventional mic clip as well as an adapter for the threads on the stand to attach the mic clip to. Without the adapter, the smaller threads seem to be made for fitting into a small camera so there's another possible use for this little stand if you need to take a still photo of a product or need a hands free way to mount a video camera such as a GoPro or something like that. I'd check the actual thread dimensions first on whatever you are looking to mount on it, but it "appears" to be universal camera type of screw mount.But getting back to this stand as a mic stand. Straight A's! Recommended!

Make sure your microphone is one of those who the stand fits right in the middle. If you have something like a snowball yeti it will be perfect and sturdy. If it sits on a shock mount there is no way to fix the angle to make it sturdy. Good quality stand tho.
