This tach replaced one from the famous German gauge maker that failed miserably. This tach was smooth and accurate right out of the box. No adjustment needed! At night the gauge is brighter than the white face autometer gauge that resides beside it. Haven't had it long, but it is impressive to say the least.

Put this tach on my 1949 8n ford tractor, once the dip switches were properly set and then fine tune it with the adjustment screw it is dead on.I have used Vee Three tachs and gauges in the past and they are high quality !
