Pros:Can actually see through the tubes albeit with a blue tint.Having the NVGs bundled with the mount makes this a super convenient one-stop-shop.Cons:Biggest issue, and a deal-breaker for some, will be the eye-width adjustment. This feature was completely non-functional out of the box and required tinkering to come to some sort of fix.>This a corner that should not have been cut as the way the goggles pivot to adjust for eye width is simply a metal screw screwing in and out of plastic threads.>>These threads were already completely stripped out of the box. This is likely from accidental overtightening at the factory which it only takes one time to do to completely atomized the weak plastic threads and permanently strip them.>>>This results in goggles that flop around with nothing able to keep tension for adjustment.Personally, I """fixed""" the issue by popping off the decorative caps as can be seen in my photo and unscrewing the bolt used for adjustment, dousing the bolt in superglue, then re-inserting the bolt and tightening. I had about 20 seconds to adjust the goggles to where I wanted them to be to fit my eye-width before the superglue began to dry. The superglue has held and the adjustment is now permanently set. (Note that I tried using purple Loctite first but it did not work even a little haha)(The hex-key that I used to work the bolt is a 3/16)3/5 as the listed con is a big issue and the product would have, perosnally, been completely unusable if I had not been willing to take it apart and glue the parts in place in order for me to be able to fix it to a point where I can see through the goggles.
