What i needed! Note, these are not prefilled! You do need to get filling. Sand works really well, in my opinion. The best really. But rice, sand, and some other bullet slowing/stopping filling can be used. Sand is just my favorite. I just needed something for simple practices. Works like a charm. Good fabric. Nice sizes. Good cost.

Nice quality fabric and stitching. Was a pain to fill it. I used clean Pretty Litter cat litter to fill them and it took me a good half hour or more to fill it. But now it’s in place and it definitely works and holds its place. I like how I can quietly move it around to adjust it as necessary. Good value product.

I was a bit surprised when came in in a flat envelope but a check of the web site confirmed it is shippped unfilled. It is sized for portability as you can see from the pictures against a ruler. I won’t be taking it into the woods or for long hikes so I filled it with purchased play sand. Get very fine, dry sand for the easiest filling experience. I used a long neck funnel and the filling process took 10 minutes. In hindsight one of those tiny funnels with a super extended neck used for adding transmission fluid might be the best filling tool. But it’s a once and done thing so use what you have. When filled with play sand like I did it weighs about 5 pounds, not heavy but it’s not going to get blown around on the shooting table.The fabric is a tight weave, no matter how I try to get it to leak some sand I can’t make that happen. So it is safe to store around shooting and cleaning “stuff” without worrying that sand will get over everything. If that is still a concern there are options like ground rubber or walnut shells available for stuffing - these would be preferred if weight is an issue for your needs. The leather on top is sewn suede side up so it will be very friendly to wooden gun stock.A nice rest for the front on the shooting table where the butt is supported on your shoulder. Very pleased with it.

Seems like a good shooting bag. I was unaware that it did not come filled. I have no need for all of the extra sand from a large bag, so I haven’t filled it yet.
