Easy install with the included tool.I thought I had a heat shield rattling, maybe the license plate,Anyway this fixed the vibrating rattle noise that happened at certain speeds.Simple But effective!p.s. the item I received was all black no lettering like the picture in the listing (imo, actually better that way).

Easy straightforward install. I would recommend securing included hardware with Locktite on the bolts. Install and bolt down until the bolts get some friction, then adjust with the door before torquing the bolts a final time.

Wish i knew about this before checking all the rear suspension for the annoying sound, that was actually coming from the door.Easy to install, solves the issue.

Huge fan of the quality of the fit and finish on this piece. Excellent machining. Will install this weekend and post updates a week or two later on how it impacts the notorious barn door squeaks on the GX platform!UPDATE: All squeaks from the barn door appear to be resolved. I do wish the screw had specific "slots" for the bolt head to set into to hold the position of the stop (forward or backward), as I do have concerns with it shifting or sliding inward over time, even after making sure it is torqued down.

This is a simple yet great product. This piece eliminated all the squeak coming from the 5th door. This makes the truck feel not as old. My wife is very happy.

Comes with new bolts( which you need), and an wrench to change out the part. It was easy to install, and the tailgate stopped rattling.

Update; definitely a lot less noise back there! Worth the buy!Not sure if I actually needed this/it was the cause of the noises in back but I got it bc it seemed like an upgrade. Part looks slick. Fit perfectly (part and screws) on my 2011 rav4 2.5l. The tool could be a little longer on the long end but it worked just fine to loosen ones on car and put new ones on. I’d highly suggest this as must have and preventive after market part. Even if you don’t have rattles in the back yet it’s worth putting it on for the tighter fit. Lettering on my was correct and not upside down as others have mentioned

Didn't work well first time I put it on. Only did one adjustment (it's designed to be adjusted unlike the original Toyota part which is fixed) and it worked!Squeaking does come back when hitting a big bump, but even then it's a lot quieter. Small bumps no longer causes any squeaking. It's extremely quiet most of the time now so I don't want to risk adjusting it again and making it worse.5-10 mins install time for me.
