Didn't work. Simple replacement. But junk. I would return it but my windows of opportunity expired. 100 bucks wasted on garbage. Zero stars.

Item is as described. However it still would not unlock or lock my tailgate appropriately until I removed the black cover piece of the actuator by removing the five screws that hold it in place and releasing the tab on the side. Then I removed the spring from the inside of the white wedge with gear teeth and reassembled. Then it was nice and strong and would lock and unlock appropriately. Durability to be determined, but today it is 20 below fahrenheit and it is functioning appropriately. Coincidentally, my old actuator still worked with the spring removed as well. Even had installed a complete brand new tailgate handle assembly a week prior, so that wasn't the issue.
