Tank to Bowl Kit

I bought this to remount my American Standard Champion 4 tank when replacing the flush valve with a Korky flapper style flush valve. Some reviews said the seal didn't have the nut shaped cut out in the seal but the one in my kit did. I like the rubber seals for the tank mounting bolts better than just rubber washers. The kit did what it was supposed to do but is a bit pricey for what it is.

This kit was exactly what was needed for my American standard toilet. Easy to install. No more leak.

This kit would've worked but I preferred kit that had extension for washer holders they saved soo much time.

I wish I could have purchased the green gasket separately, for much less price. All of the other original hardware was still fine.It says to tighten the toilet tank until it touches the bowl. This took a lot of force. I'm worried about cracking or breaking the bowl. I went almost all the way. I'll check it in a year and snug it again once the gasket settles.

Easy to install and even easier with 3/8 ratchet wrench!

Our original seal was not sealing when the toilet was flushing and the fresh water was spraying out the side. This was a perfect replacement and took 15 minutes to fit.

I just installed and was glad it came not only with the washers for the toilet tank but also the bolts and nuts. All the seals worked well.

I could tell by the rust and flaking i saw in the tank water that the screws could use replacing. Since I had the tank off to replace the flush valve, I replaced everything. It fits as it should, and the new screws don't come with washers (which confused a lot of people on youtube installation vids) they come with rubber seals you push the screw through and it goes through the tank, and when you screw it tight it squeezes into a water tight fit.
