I needed to run a power line for an appliance in the Garage. I used an existing outlet to source the power 120V. The Box Extender met that requirement. The Box came with all neceassry plugs/screws to make installation a breeze

The screws are short enough you can't screw all the way from the receiptical through the extension and into the original box. Remove the silver plates to attached the extension, then put the silver plates back on and screw the receiptical to that. Works great for my need.

The box is well made all of the holes are perfectly placed in the correct place. I used mine to extend a receptacle from behind a cabinet by using pvc conduit and a FS12 outlet box. It worked very well.

Look nice and fairly easily installed.But I did have to remove (and later replace) at least one of the rmoveable small brackets located at the ends of the box extension to get access to the underlying opening that receives a threaded screw needed to attach the box extension to the underlying box. That's pretty easy except when you are a senior near the top of the 12 foot step ladder (grin). If the box you are extending doesn't need a step ladder to access, this is a piece of cake.

Solid construction and very good gasket seal for wet locations. This extension to a builder’s flush mount box in brick is ideal to add 1/2” flexible carlon or rigid PVC pipe to add additional outlets outside or power security lights or pole/driveway lights or garden lights or water pumps. You can power from the 15a GFCI outlet already there or you tap into another house circuit most likely powering the outside patio door light and add another switch inside. Highly recommend you install an outlet cover that is water proof with cords plugged in.It would have got 5 stars if the instructions were better. It’s too easy to install backwards and cause a lot of rework. I think they hired an IKEA guy to write the instructions.

Arrived quickly, installed easily. Provided the needed room for wire connectors behind my GFCI receptacle with two tributaries. Short screws provided were exactly what is needed to connect to the original box. Longer screws are not needed. I was able to install without needing to undo any wiring. I only had to temporarily remove the two metal plates to slip the extension over the GFCI receptacle. I did not need the four additional ports, so I used the four supplied screw-in hole plugs.
