Taytools Magnetic Bandsaw Fence

Easily Install and Remove
Quickly and easily install and remove the fence from the bandsaw table by simply turning on/off the two magnet levers.
Four Magnet Locations
Magnets can be installed in one of four locations to accommodate for various bandsaw table sizes.

90° Fence
Fence to angle is calibrated to 90 degrees out of the box and will never need to be adjusted.
Adjustable T Fence
The adjustable T fence allows the fence angle to be set to compensate for blade drift.
Features:
- It is 18" long by 3" tall and 3/4" thick, so will work with most 10" to 20" bandsaws.
- Multiple T slots on fence will accept numerous stops, auxiliary fences and jigs. Slots will accept 1/4-20 hex head bolts or Taytools 1/4" or 5/16" T bolts.
- Adjustable T fence allows the fence angle to be set to compensate for blade drift, and measures 1-1/2" by 4".
- Comes standard with two 150 pound breakaway strength 90 degree switchable magnets.
- Additional magnets can be added (up to four) to increase holding power.

Strong magnets. Instructions imply it comes with allen wrench but mine did not. Not a problem though. I still need to square it up to the table.

I snagged my fence from Taytools directly rather than Amazon. On my Rikon 10-3061 - 10" bandsaw the fence locks down tightly to the table. No sliding at all. I think the key may be to follow Mike Taylors' direction in the video. Specifically to install the Magswitches somewhat loosely, switch the Magswitches "on" to lock the fence down and then tighten the bolts.I had installed the Magswitches aligned and locked sitting on my dining room table. The fence locked down but would slide. After following the instructions, no sliding. I can however, move the bandsaw itself with the fence. Locked very tight. As mentioned elsewhere, no 3 mm wrench included, nor a 4mm wrench for the alignment plate.

I was really surprised at how strong the magnet was and how well the fence stayed put. Have reason some 4” Purpleheart to less than 1/8” thick and it did not budge. Boards were uniform thickness down the entire length. Would buy again in a heartbeat knowing what I know now.

I bought this fence directly from Taytools and I will say that it delivers everything TayTools promises it will. My only issue with this fence is that I don't always need a 3" fence for use on my Rikon 10-325 14" bandsaw and sometimes I only need a low fence, say 1/2" high, for ripping cuts and other fabrication needs. Since the fence will always be 3"high, when it is near the blade, the support bearings cannot be lowered to just above the stock since the fence is in the way. Now, while this is not an insurmountable issue and I could use an auxiliary fence so get around this issue, it seems to me that for the money, this item should be totally adaptable for all the types of cuts that someone might want to achieve with accuracy. Now, this is my opinion and you can make your own decision. I like this fence a lot. It definitely get rid of the drift for resaw operations. It just needs, in my opinion, some design tweaks to make it even better.

One thing I don't like is the lack of direction for setup especially on how to use the drift feature there is actually no instructions for that. The magnets seen to be strong and the fence has grooves for attachments plus the fence is wide.
