I don't keep individual score on each hole just totals for my golf game. So this keeps honest and I don't miss a stroke.

Empfehlenswert!

I purchased this Tally Counter because it looked well made and I liked the metal reset zero wheel, when most are made of plastic. As a wildlife/birdwatcher I use it specifically for counting populations and I have found it very useful; especially when I am side-tracked by the question, have you seen anything, which normally means "rare", a high irritation factor that has caused me to lose count on many occasions in the past, hence the purchase! When looking through a high magnification spotting scope with a relatively narrow field of view, concentration can be intense and therefore the positive click sound everytime the counting button/lever is pressed is a positive atribute. What I don't know is how long the Tally Counter will last or the quality of the internal mechanism. Originally I purchased mine for around £10 and the downside (in my view) is that it has become increasingly overpriced. At some point I hope to open the Tally Counter to check the quality of the internal components and when I do, I will post an update.

I wanted a simple clicker counter and that’s what I got. Works great and I have never had any issues with it.

Well I bought every single manual tally counter I could find a bit ago back, over the last few years and have been sampling, and I recently bought a second. I use the tallycounter for work related things and the like. The case is made of a metallic exterior, it feels good, it doesn't flex with pressure, both the first and second counters have a very satisfying click and press, the audible sound is perfect, and the tactile feel is pretty decent overall. I've bought some others that excelled in their tactile, or auditory sensations but when it came down to the weight, and overall feel in the hand. These were superb. I've used them without failure yet. and im quite pleased with them.

I use this handy dandy hand tally for counting pitches, not because I enjoy counting pitches, but someone has to do it when an youth baseball organization changes the rules and it’s required. It’s definitely sexier than it’s plastic cousin, who can also be used to count, well basically whatever you want.. neither discriminate with your personal counting needs.I’m happy with my purchase overall and would recommend this product.. maybe 2 if you are keeping track of two things at one time.. so you can avoid head math, unless you like head math. I don’t and should have bought 2.. or one of those crazy 2 sided counters. But I’m all about commitment, and I’ve chosen my lot, so I’ll stick with this bad boy, he gets the job done and looks good while doing it.Wait! I didn’t even mention that people have asked to borrow it! It’s that good! I only let people I trust use it.. I mean this guy wasn’t free.. so I tell folks they can get their very own right here on Amazon.

Works well, thus far seems to be more robust than plastic models. I use them to count paces when hiking to keep track of how far I have walked, really as a backup for my mental counting, which sometimes gets thrown off when I encounter wildlife and forget my pace count. So I use it in conjunction with my homemade pace count beads (or ranger beads). Keeping accurate count is especially needed when honing cross country walking compass land navigation skills. Otherwise I may only misjudge how far I walked that day, off by .1 mile or .1km, depending on which measurement scale I am using that day.

I was having trouble keeping track of my laps at the local gym track so I looked at Amazon for some kind of counter similar to the one I used when counting blood cells in my hospital lab job. EUREKA! Amazon had just what I wanted! (I wasn't sure after 50 years that they were still being made). Perfect size (fits in your hand), easy to use, just the right tool for the job! Price was right too!

I bought this mechanical timer to help me count the number of laps when running on the indoor track at the gym. It's only 1/16 of a mile, so keeping count of the laps is a bit of a chore. This works great for me to hold in my hand while I run and keep track of the laps. I'm not sure how well it would do with a lot of perspiration and/or rain water, but for dry conditions, it's working great for me. It seems well built, and looks like it'll last a long time.

Seems to work well enough, though I don't have any other experience with tally counters. The actual tally clicking action feels just a bit weak/wobbly, and the stroke is longer than it probably could be, but overall not bad for the money. The knob on the right lets you re-set to zero quickly enough.
