I ordered a new windshield from Longride Shields and found a way to install the kit much easier to the windshield. The horizontal bracket mounted behind the windshield is very stiff and hard to conform to the curvature of the windshield. What I did was used two grip clamps, loosely slid them on the bracket, and CAREFULLY pulled the two clamp arms together to slowly form the bracket to the windshield. Start from one end and work across, periodically checking the fitment. Take your time. Once that piece is formed, everything else will go on much easier. (Plus you reduce the risk of cracking the windshield).

I mounted this on my 2010 Harley Softtail. It went on fairly easily. I did not like the appearance (personal opinion), but the seller was responsive and graciously accepted my return.

Bought this kit as it was cheaper than a Harley fairing mounting kit. Had to cut and drill to make them work as expected but it worked and they look as good as a factory mounting kit that was well over a 100 dollars. Would only recommend for this application for somebody that is a decent fabricator.

Overall quality seems decent. Fit is correct. However, they are "dip" painted (I believe) and there is a very heavy coat of paint. That in combination with the thickness of the main supports makes them almost impossible to get into the mounts on the bike. I had to grind/file/sand the contact areas down a lot (and then repaint) in order to get a proper fit - so the windshield could be installed - and removed - with reasonable effort. Would think twice about ordering them again.
