Well after watching several videos online about putting these things on I expected them to be a breeze. Boy was I wrong. I have done all the upgrades on my bike myself and these damn things gave me the worst time. The main issue is with the hex nut that comes in a hardware pack. The nut is supposed to collapses onto itself to secure to the bike. Well, the issue is the hex nut itself is too small. When trying to get the nut to collapse to secure to the bike it starts spinning in the hole because it to small there for it never collapses. Making securing the heat shield itself impossible. My solution was to use the threaded holes at the top of each side on the bike frame and then zip tied the bottom holes where the hex nut should have been. As of now they look great and the paint matches perfect. I will have to see if the zip ties will handle the heat. Either way though the part is small enough that I think just the top bolts will work I just wish for piece of mind the bottom hex's would have fit.

Item as described . I would only recommend better hardware. I'm comparison to OEM heat shield vs savings buying quality hardware is still a big savings. Fitment is spot on 100% and simple instructions. They are very fine print but nothing a cell phone photo can't fix. All in all great product at a great price.

I have purchased other mid air deflectors in the past that didn’t align correctly to the frame. These are great and easy to install but no directions. If needed, go online and watch a YouTube video for installation instructions.

Looks great and more than half the price of the name brand versions. Downfall is that it doesn't come with instructions but no engineering degree necessary. Pretty simple install. Comes with some random @$$ screws and nuts. Use loctite or replace with lock nuts.However I can tell the difference in the heat by my legs. Works as advertised!!!
