I've never had a bad quality recording with these cassette tapes. The only problem is tape hiss witch is an inherent problem solved with a Dolby noise reduction option with most cassette player, recorders.

Was looking for 'metal' or 'high-bias' tape, this stuff is plain old tape, don't pay the premium, because it is not premium in any way.

Years ago I did a lot of cassette recording so I could listen to my music in my car. I had a Pioneer recorder that at the time was considered to be the best tape recorder, and I tried many different brands of cassette tapes and found TDK metal and high bias tapes to be the best tape. Well I recently bought a new cassette player/recorder (yes they still make them to my surprise) and started to record again because it's something I enjoyed doing back in the 70's. and I'm still fascinated by the old technologies. I chose to try TDK tapes again and I'm very pleased with the results. The sound is clear and as close to the original as you can get with tape an by recording in Dolby hiss is practically non-existent. My hats off to TDK once again!
