Product description

Luxury grade Imperial Bai Mu Dan White Peony tea that is harvested from the first flush of this year's Spring. Fuding Province in China is a famous growing region known for producing three of the most famous Chinese teas; Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needle), Bai Lin Hong Cha (Golden Monkey), and Bai Mu Dan (White Peony). White Peony is a famous classic Chinese tea and is considered to be synonymous with wealth and honor in China.

Our Imperial Bai Mu Dan White Peony is one of the most incredibly vibrant and fresh Bai Mu Dan teas that we have ever tasted. Modern processing methods were used in which the leaves are fermented and processed indoors producing a brilliant green color and fresh flavor profile. The bright and clean leaves display the care and passion that went into the growing and crafting of this fine white tea.

This is the freshest and full-bodied of our delicate white teas, and once steeped you will appreciate how complex and delicate this fine tea is. Experience a beautiful light golden tea liquor that has a heady aroma of stone fruit, and fresh-cut grass. Its flavor is sweet and fruity and has a fresh green grass character, it finished with flowery heady notes and very little astringency.

For the best tea drinking experience, we recommend using a gaiwan and enjoying multiple infusions.

Found this bitter. Wanted a mellow taste this wasn't it

Coffee and black tea make me anxious if I drink enough to concentrate. This tea is perfect for me. Super glad I got the imperial grade.

Has a delicate, slightly sweet taste. When the leaves are wet it has a light, sweet smell to it with a very subtle hint of green tea. Quality isn't the highest, but it still makes for a pleasant drinking experience. I enjoyed it a lot

I freeze fruits and vegetables in bags for my daily smoothies. I use hot tea to help break up all the frozen items. I researched which tea has the most anti-oxidants and found that it was white tea. As I am already buying Tealyra's Earl Gray (my absolute favorite), I ordered there white tea. The flavor is so mild that it does not affect the taste of my smoothies but the leaves are very fragrant. Comes in an easily re-closeable bag, I really love Tealyra brand.

Other white teas I’ve had have been kind of weak and watery tasting. If you’re a serious tea drinker this tea has a great tea flavor without a lot of caffeine. The best white tea ever I’ve had.

Honestly, didn’t expect it to be THAT GOOD! Rich, flavorful, quality, vibrant. Love it! Mix it with some other berries and few great teas, so marks a great base too

It seems that most teas these days come in resealable tins. Luckily, after opening the package, I was able to store the tea in an old tin.Great tea; wish they packaged better.
