The Svengali deck is a fantastic way to start your journey in magic. Many magicians astound spectators with this gaff. Amaze people consistently. The deck works okay, but the quality isn't the best. It's not made by Bicycle, but it's handmade from leftover cards. I'm okay with that, but the cards are clearly cut by hand and are uneven. Sometimes during the main trick, an extra card might flash.

When I saw this set of altered cards I thought of my grandson's intense interest in card tricks. The directions are easy to follow, and include a link to an online tutorial for many more tricks than included in the printed instructions. The deck of cards is a regular red Bicycle deck that has been altered. There is an easy to remove sticker that shows the force card is for this deck. Well made, and easy to understand. Great for a beginner.

Video learning page for the deck was awesome. It made the tricks easyto learn, and included tricks I have never seen before. The site hasa ton of learning pages for other tricks that they sell. There is apdf with 100 svengali deck tricks. Excellent deck of cards. It waseasy to assemble. The package includes a coin with a video learningpage. I haven't done coin tricks before, but I am going to start.
