Simply plug the brake control end of the wiring harness into the back of the brake control and the vehicle end into the automobile's port. Brake controls that utilize the 2-plug style of wiring harness will be identified with the Plug & Play logo.

I ordered this as the plug looked to be the same as the 3073-P, which I needed for my 2019 JLU (Wrangler Unlimited) with the factory tow package and I figured I could use my terminal removal tools to pop the pins out to re-wire it if the plug was the same, but just wired differently. Based on pictures from the Tekonsha site, it appeared identical.I installed it, tested the wires (negative was negative, positive was positive, and the brake triggered when I pushed on the brake. A 7-way tester confirmed it activated the brake line at the 7-way.I also ordered the 3073-P since it initially looked like it wouldn't get here in time, but I got it a day earlier than expected, so surprise.It turns out this 3014-P *is* identical (length, connectors, wiring) except for the label, unless someone re-wired my 3014-P and sent it back to Amazon, but that would be at odds against the pictures on the Tekonsha site.

Works perfectly with my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. Plugged into the factory harness on the left drivers side kick panel. Need some flexibility to find the plug, but it connects without any issue.

Our 2013 jeep wrangler Sahara did not have the factory tow package so I cannot comment if this will fit on a wrangler or not. But it didn’t for ours. Great quality though

What can you say about a wiring harness? It either works or it doesn't. It did.Nice quality, plug-and-play worked great on my 2015 Jeep Cherokee and Tekonsha controller.My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that the cable was longer than I needed and it's very stiff, so it's not easy to tuck it out of the way, but it's fine.And for other Cherokee owners note: this is super simple (in concept) - simply plug it into the controller. But it is a bit painful to actually find the plug to insert it into. It's wedged back on the back wall (above the dead pedal) behind a lot of cabling and other obstacles and because of the awkward angle you're doing it pretty much blind... I couldn't really gets my hands in there very well, but once I located it I was able to push the adapter into the plug just be pushing on the wires an inch or two above the adapter end. Popping the panel off is a bit of a chore too since you don't want to break it. I didn't remove mine all the way, just pulled it out enough to get back there. Also, it's the smaller panel to the far left... not the large panel that runs under steering wheel - that's your knee airbag - nothing back there for you. This is one of those jobs that once you've done it once, you could probably do it again in 5 minutes, but the first time takes a bit of hunting.
