Simply plug the brake control end of the wiring harness into the back of the brake control and the vehicle end into the automobile's port. Brake controls that utilize the 2-plug style of wiring harness will be identified with the Plug & Play logo.

If your Ram doesn't have a factory brake controller this is the piece you need for your Primus IQ. 2016 Ram, the connector was under the driver side knee bolster where the center console meets the dash. Under the ignition switch area. There are two connectors poking out of the center console. One is square block. That is the one you want. Remove the foam from it and plug this harness in. You're good to go.

Wasn’t sure what the Bargman Company was, but it’s the same company as Tekonsha and came in the branded packaging. Tip for 2018+ Jeep Wrangler owners, this is the same harness as the 3073-P but just need to switch the blue and black wires on the vehicle end of this harness. Refer to internet where you can see how that’s done. Just mentioning it because the 3073-P seems to be much harder to come by than the 3024-P.

The cable was a Tekonsha OEM in packaging. Installation In my 2015 RAM 1500 was a snap, with the PrimusIQ brake controller.The unit is easy to set up and calibrate, and everything worked as expected.The only issue was that it took until the day before the estimated arrival date before the part was showing as shipped and not knowing where it was shipping from, made me unsure if it would arrive at the specified delivery time. In the end it did arrive on the estimated delivery day.

Bought this harness along with the Tekonsha Primus IQ brake controller. Super easy plug and play for my 2019 Ram 1500 Sport (DT, new body style). No fuss, no mess. A must buy for sure so you don't have to splice wires.

The Tekonsha 3024P wiring adapter is great and works fine however, it was supposedly shipped about 48 hours after I placed the order. I ordered the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller at the same time and it shipped and arrived as I was told it would. I installed the controller and after waiting one week, I cancelled the order for the 3024P and found one locally (at twice the price), installed it and everything worked fine. I could not wait as I needed it to pull the Travel trailer.When I canceled the order, Amazon refunded the charge for the 3024P. After returning from the camping trip (almost 24 days after ordering), the 3024P arrived.Be wary of third party amazon suppliers. I have had this problem before.
