Bought this for our 2022 Ford F150 to use with the trailer brake controller we purchased of the same brand. The description didn’t really say it would work with a 2022 and Amazon said it would not fit my vehicle, but I still bought it to at least try it. I even asked a question to other customers and they said it wouldn’t work. I had one person tell me they don’t make one for that year! I had trouble believing that! Well it does work in a 2022 Ford F150!

If your looking for the correct break pigtail cable got a 2018-2019 Ford E-350 class c motor home this is your part. I was misled from what amazon posted on a different part number and found out that this is the correct break control cable to use 3034-P works perfect. Price is not bad.

With my P3, power is only 1 wire. The Econoline plug has a key on/signal wire. I had to wire in a relay to shut power off to the controller or else it would drain the battery. I guess you could put in a switch to handle 30 amps. A better design would be a controller with a built in key on signal. Then if your main power is switched, you only have to split power to that wire too.

The footwell of the Ranger is tight and I worried I'd hit my knee on it getting out, but this is compact and removable so it's not an issue. Easy to set up and adjust the strength on the brakes and settings for multiple trailers and drivers is a nice plus.

Like a couple of others here I purchased this adapter for a 2014 Ford Flex, and while the connector is the correct shape, the smaller two pins' locations did not match the pins on the vehicle. I was able to pull the pins out of this cable and relocate them to the correct spots, effectively converting this into a 3036-P and now I'm on my way. I would give five stars for construction, but subtract one star for the incorrect vehicle match. It's not Amazon's fault either. Tekonsha's own website is also ambiguous as to which cable fits the 2014 Flex. Their Electrical Selector brings up the 3036-P when I specify the 2014 Flex, but then says 3036-P doesn't fit this vehicle. Then when I search for 3034-P, Tekonsha's website indicates that 3034-P "fits your base vehicle". But it didn't without modification. The moral of the story is: examine the connector on the vehicle before ordering a cable. The pinout probably changed mid-year.
