Easy installation. Has an extra ground wire compared to my old controller but came with a pre-installed ring terminal.. worked perfectly. Great quality with shielded wires

This item does NOT fit a 2007 Tundra. The label on the item says 3040-P and Tekonsha even says the 3040-p should fit. Either the item was labeled incorrectly or it just does not fit a 2007 Tundra as indicated.The plug looks to have a similar layout and at a glance looks like it would fit. However it is different enough than what is in my 2007 Tundra that it physically impossible to connect it up. That is the whole reason to buy this item so I am returning it.Maybe it fits different model years or even the same year but a different trim but it definitely does not fit a 2007 Tundra 5.8 limited double cab. If you have that don't waste your time.

Works awesome, but it could be longer for more mounting options, I spliced it with the pigtail that came with the controller and I was able to mount it where I wanted to.

It wasn't a Reese connector but a Tekonsha which is a better unit and the wiring was correct.
