These custom two-plug units are specifically designed to be used with any Tekonsha brake controller. The Plug & Play feature on the Tekonsha wiring harnesses makes them easy to install. Simply plug one end of the harness into the back of your desired Tekonsha brake controller and the other end into the port in your vehicle. No cutting, splicing, or taping required. Each wiring harness is made up of four copper wires wrapped with a braided nylon thread to insulate the wires and protect them against nicks, punctures, and elevated temperatures. The four-pin Plug & Play connectors on each end of the harness are uniquely designed, with one end to fit each vehicle based on make and model year specifications, while the other end plugs easily into any Tekonsha brake controller. Doesn’t fit the Cayenne harness. The image on the package appears correct and the part is labeled with the same part number. But it what universe does what I receive look like the image on the package??So ordered a replacement. Got the same thing. Returning the controller I’d planned to use. Super bummed.

Called company after receiving part and they are still in denial. They assured me it is correct. The pin sizes are different. I guess we can only wait and see.

Misleading information and manual.This product does not fit 2017-2023 Volkswagen Atlas, but the manual and online company says that it does. The male connector is much larger then VW atlas female. Tried contacting company to bring it to their attention and no response. Buyer be aware.

If you were about to order this for a VW Atlas, don't!VW seems to have changed the plug on the Atlas as of 2019 and onwards to a smaller one. This will fit a Touareg tho.Tekonsha seems to be aware of the situation however they haven't updated their compatibility charts.
