They're designed for use with both friction ring anvils and detent pin anvils. Our two-piece bit socket design allows us to optimize the steel alloys, heat treatments, and forming processes for the bit and socket separately. after buying other name brand bits, this one works and is easily replaceable if you do break it. I broke one so far and simply went to their website, found the warranty repair info and submitted a claim (you will want to do it from your phone as they do require a picture of the broken part). They sent me a replace ment quickly (probably helps i live 30 minutes from their Grand Rapids office). Good tools at a great price! I can also say i have seen a "tool truck" with their name on the side of it, so they are running against the "big guys" here in West MI!

I needed a heavy duty Torx to remove a stubborn disk brake screw. It arrived quickly and performed flawlessly. I’m keeping it for future use on my trucks.

This bit worked perfectly for removing the exhaust manifold bolts from a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine. Needed some impact power to remove them and the torx bit did not break or deform. Still looks like new!

I have a 3/8 drive T50 that I use to remove seatbelts, but I needed something that can apply more torque. The 1/2 drive T50 does the trick, I’ve used it a few times without issue.

I was needing to take off a seatbelt bolt out of Lincoln Town Car. I had a T50 that came in a variety pack with different sizes by a different manufacturer but it was small and didn't fit snuggly in the bolt.I was afraid of stripping the bolt because of the torque it needed for removal.I ordered this tekton and it fit snuggly in place and was able to crank out the seatbelt with the impact gun without any issues to the bolt or the Tekton T50 bit.

I wouldn't have believed it but I can honestly say that I will probably be buying Tekton over SnapOn going forward for most hand tools. Amazing quality tools at a fraction of the price and the warranty is actually easier than waiting up to a week for the truck and at least a week for him to come back if he doesn't have the replacement on the truck.... with Tekton it is like 2 days to my door with an email and a picture. Not that I break tools all the time, but when it happens it is nice to know I will have another one in 2 days consistently.

Purchased to break loose a couple of torx head screws.!it held up to repeated uses driven by a heavy duty battery impact and 2 foot long 1/2 inch drive flex handle. It withstood more torque than expected without damage.
