Does exactly what is supposed to do.We mounted 3 different Canon cameras: 450D, 60D & 2000D. No jams, no problems. Silky smooth.

I’m not kidding, the red dot is NOT in the position to attach this adapter to your camera. In fact, it took me almost 25 minutes to install it JUST to make sure it really fits in the camera in the first place. Would I recommend it? Probably not but if you want a budget adapter and you got a camel patience this will work for you.

This item was purchased to replace an existing adapter that was too long and would not let a Canon camera reach focus on a telescope. This adapter was short enough to allow focusing. Yay!
