I got this unit to go on my large smoker and it hasn’t let me down. After a quick and easy calibration this thing is dead on with a degree or less. I’d done multiple smoke sessions with this thing some for 12-16 hours. And this thing doesn’t miss a step.. it’s dead on accurate… I’m buying another for my other smoker. They’ve earned my business for life…

Tested this thing for accuracy and it was dead on. What I can't find anywhere is hardware to attach it to my smoker. Am I missing something? Is there a source for the hardware? Is it metric? It's a very high quality product otherwise.

It's a Tel tru so the quality and accuracy is second to none for an analog thermometer . Replaced my previous cheaper brand and am very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend this.

This is an industrial grade thermometer that certainly works. The dial base is threaded for half inch pipe thread. Solid heavy and thick. I have not come up with a way to hang it in a pot yet, but it generally responds fast enough that I don't need to keep it in longer anyway.
