I got this to replace the ultralight version of netting for the top 6 feet of our 10 foot high garden fence. The bottom of our fence is woven wire. I extended the T-posts with electrical conduit and deer netting covers the upper half. This heavier duty deer netting is great. Much thicker than the flimsy stuff. It's easier to install and should be more durable.

Used this last spring/summer to protect newly planted tree from deer foraging. Much of it has broken down/shredded and I will need to replace it. More like bird netting than fencing material. Easy to work with as it is so thin but it doesn't last.

I really liked this product. it's much thicker than the stuff I found at a big store so not only does it work better, it's soooooooo much easier to work with because you can actually see it, LOL. I've included a photo comparing it to the big store product. The openings are a bit larger in this thicker stuff but it keeps out the bigger animals just fine. And because it's thicker, it could be used for more than one season. The only struggle I had was w/ the width of it. I knew this going into it and that's what I wanted but a net that's 7 feet tall isn't easy to work with so I had to enlist the help of a friend. But, that thickness also made it easier to work w/ since it gave it some body.I would definitely recommend this for anyone who must use something to keep critters out of the garden. It's pricier but I think it's well worth the extra cost.

Bought this to keep the chickens out of my garden. Was easy to put up with some poles and zip ties. A tornado came through and knocked a tree on top of part of the fence. After removing the tree, we found the fence just ripped straight down. Easy enough to pick up and reattach to the rest. Held up great!

Finding affordable and sturdy deer fencing mostly to keep our outdoor cats safe in our yard - and keep neighborhood strays who spray on doors and windows, etc. out - and Tenax isn't bad, just less sturdy than other fencing we have used (but which we can no longer find). We also used it to wrap around bamboo poles and anchored it with garden staples to protect seedlings and young trees. So far it has kept the cats away. Make sure to wear gloves when working with any deer fencing as the cut edges are sharp.

Worked well to fence my garden, but it was a PITA to install evenly. It stretches in a localized way more than I expected so getting a clean result was very time consuming. That said, once installed I’m satisfied with the price for keeping the deer out. I used stainless braided wire and turnbuckles anchored to eye screws to run top, middle, and bottom tension lines. These lines (or something like them) are recommended by the manufacturer on their YouTube install videos and the product packaging as well. It’s hard enough to get a good looking result with these tension lines, taut tension helps to keep them from looking slack and sloppy - don’t skip them if you want your result to look any good. I made a 6’ tall fence and let the excess fold outward into the yard at the bottom, then landscape staked that down and zip tied it to the bottom tension line. Should be rabbit proof if you do that. The last thing that I want to mention is the deceptive naming of this product. I thought I was buying their sturdiest plastic fencing, but this is actually their light/“seasonal” material (found “seasonal” printed on the package, didn’t see it anywhere prior to purchase). They call it “heavy duty”, which I believe is marketing nonsense - if you want the real heavy duty product that they offer, it’s labeled “extra heavy duty”. The only reason I’m not more upset about this is that it’s working for my purposes, and the other one costs about double so it’s a trade off. I just hope “seasonal” doesn't actually mean less than at least 2 years or so because installing this cleanly was obnoxious.TLDR: this is light duty, if you want heavy duty look for their “extra heavy duty” product. This stretches a lot locally so it makes installation obnoxious, and you must use tension lines to get a decent result (which does add a lot to the cost depending on how you go about those lines). The package says that this is “seasonal” fencing so consider this when deciding, it’s not on this listing page as far as I could find; you might want to get the “extra heavy duty” variant. Recommended for the cost though, and it’s doing the job.Edit: spelling errors. Fence is still working great as of 2/24/2021

Sadly, this was just not strong enough to keep out the tenacious deer. It worked for awhile, but once the deer got in accidentally with someone leaving the back gate open, they knew what was inside and ploughed through this netting almost daily. They easily chewed the netting, knocked over the poles, and even bolted straight through the fence tearing it to shreds. I had to replace with good old fashion wire, albeit too late to save much of my garden.

Ok so I have an acre long thin back yard. My husband and I fenced off about 350feet of this in our back yard to prevent the deer from coming in. It certainly prevents the deer from entering, they walk up to it and walk away. Keep in mind we have two neighbors within 50-100 feet on each side so I am not out on a large open space of land where deer may be running and jumping. This is the roll that is folded in half but seems strong. We did have a deer hit by a car in the road out front and it seems that another deer with it was spooked and ran into our fence. We used the 7ft tall metal posts from Home depot to hold it up (recommend 8ft instead if you can find them as the top flops over) and an area between 2 bars (about 10ft apart) was bent down to the ground. I pushed the metal posts back up to straight and the mesh fence was fine. A couple small rips but I just zip tied these closed. Now rabbits are another story. We left 1ft at the bottom of the fence along the ground laying away from our yard. Initially this kept animals out but then the grass grew and pushed up the mesh. We had to cut into the sod in a line and push the fence mesh into this hole and then use short metal u-shaped stakes (find at home depot or here on amazon 75 per box) and use this to reinforce. This works great and keeps the rabbits out too. so far no chewing through the mesh but I have read on some websites that they may do that at which point you reinforce with chicken wire.
