The eye piece doesn’t screw into the scope like the objective cover does. This is a major issue because no matter how tight that I tighten the eye piece cover screw, the simple force of me opening the cover rips the cover off the scoop completely. This is very disappointing for such a pricy cover.

Great low profile caps. fit and finish is top notch! These caps take up less space above your barrel thus allowing you to use lower rings to get the scope as low as possible for a good sight picture.However, If you don't need these lower type caps or space isn't a concern, simply buy the VORTEX caps. Vortex caps are very good, probably better in the long run because they are 1/4 the price! And they are warrantied by the company forever!

Comes with a metal ring that screwed into the front of the Objective. Caps stay closed when needed. Can rotate sideways too, just the right amount of friction. With the Butler Creeks or the Vortex, they just stick to the scope and is a bit difficult to rotate.

I’m running a Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27 with the ARC medium height rings with a M24 contour barrel and these covers have a few millimeters of clearance I’ve the barrel. Perfect fit!11-19-21 - Bought a second set of these. I've ran them on my other rifle for over a year and they've been absolutely excellent so I got another set for my new rifle build
