Easy to install and worked just like it's supposed to. Fittings were nice and snug, too. Good price and as usual, good Amazon delivery.

This is one of the most useful cables that I have ever purchased on the net. The quality was totally clear and very crisp shape graphics worked pretty well with the PS2, but it doesn't work for the Original Playstation. Though with a bit of confusion of how to get this to work was a bump, I realized that I have a second av cable that I needed to get into the console and get the correct settings for my cable and presto, it worked! Here's how to set up the composite:1. Turn on your PS22. Go to system configuration3. When you get to the the menu for that, scroll to Component Video Out and you will see there are modes RBG (original av cable), and Y Cb/Pb/ Cr/Pr (for Hd quality quality).4. Switch the modes to Y Cb/Pb/ Cr/Pr and the screen will automatically adjust the resolution of the video output on screen. This will benefit you with gameplay with high definition and bright resolution in your playstation 2.Hope this helps!

This item was purchased for my game console largely because my flat-screen TV had no S-Video plug and I had to deal with the lower quality of the composite video cable it came with inbox for years. I had originally considered an HDMI converter cable, but I did not want to deal with both it needing external power and that it's video quality derived from the composite video signal. When first used, it was as if my flat-screen had an S-Video input port, if not better as text are no longer a blury mess. Audio, considering that it was the same RCA cable signal as with the packed-in composite video cable, was unchanged.Still, I would recommend this product for those who lack an S-Video port on their monitors and TVs yet are hesitant to invest in HDMI.

Works great, far better than the stock AVI cable for the PS2.At first, I thought I got a lemon, then realized I forgot to change the settings on my PS2, from the AVI cable to a component one. After that, I was greeted with a HUGE difference in quality.I would recommend this cable.(just don't forget to correct your device's settings)

Works great on ps2, just make sure you don’t get your red cables mixed up. I took this out of the box and tried it out, I got ok sound but blurry discolored image. I Spent half an hour trying to figure out why I was getting a bad image then as I was about to see if my red and blue cables were mixed up, I looked at the cables and thought, wait a minute there’s 2 red ones, what if...? And lo and behold! Perfect sound! Perfect image! Problem solved! Great, works perfectly as advertised, it does look like an improvement as my regular old ps1 component cables gave me a blurry image, this looks clearer and nicer. So far, so good!

This was my first time setting up component cables so I had a bit of confusion when I plugged everything in and no picture appeared on my screen when I turned my PS2 on. You'll notice there's two red connectors; one of them is part of the video output and the other is sound. One of the red plugs will have a bracket on its cable that binds it to the white plug. This red plug is the sound plug. Because I didn't know this I spent a frustrating ten minutes wondering why there was nothing on screen even though my PS2 was turned on.Now that everything is working I have no problems. The sound is great, the picture is pretty vivid for such an old console.

got this to pullout the PS2 and enjoy some older games. worked great; was the video quality due to the cable .... IDK I think its because the games were made for 480 tube tv back in the day and the component video was fresh on the market; so now with 4k tv .... scaling this image, I'm sure thats where the image quality falters. but that taste of nostalgia, worth it.
