Works well enough, but beware. The pump body is ~32mm diameter which makes it too big to fit into most fuel containers sold in Australia.

I just received my second pump because they’re so handy to have. One for diesel and one for gas. No more messing with the stupid plastic pour spouts. Very nice if you have a tractor with the fill cap is high off the ground.Ps: my first pump I used with diesel and gas with not issue.

This pretty much does what it is supposed to do, and it does it reasonably quickly. I haven't actually timed the the float, but it doesn't seem to take long to pump out a 5 gallon gas can. Good build quality and easy to use even with gloves on. It takes 2 D batteries which are very easy to get in and out. I had one of these before which got lost when me recently moved. We used it a lot, and it took a while to find this one with the extra long telescoping suction tube to use with my 5 gallon gas cans. Way better than trying to pour, but mostly spilling 5 cans weighing 40 pounds when full, with molded, mostly useless "handle" indentations. .I also ordered the 10' hose because the big cans are also unwieldy in the snow around a vehicle or machine that has run out of gas and I can't always find a good spot close the fill spout to set the tank at the right angle to get the pump suction line to the lowest point to get all of the gas.The long hose probably reduces the flow rate a little bit, but the real drawback is that there is a lot of gas left over in the hose after the transfer to spill on the driveway or in the garage. It is easy to think you have gotten all of the gas out of the hose unless you can reach 10' high.Overall a good buy, reliable, good performer, and worth the extra $ for the long hose in my situation. If your situation is different you don't need the long hose. We will; probably buy some moe of these for different fluids.

It came with an aluminum base by the pump that corroded instantly. The turbine spins on a steel shaft that's rusting. Look for something more high quality.

I thought this would be brilliant for my boat but…This might work in the USA, but in the uk the nozzle is too big to fit into a standard fuel can opening!DisappointedPointless.

I love this Tera pump trep04 syphone pump. I bought the version that uses a phone charger instead of batteries. When I received this pump I plugged it in to charge. It took about 6 hours to fully charge. So I waited till the morning to syphone the gas out of my generator & some out of my 5 gallon older gas container & put into my car. Works like a charm with no problems. It was like I was at the gas station pumping my owe gas. The only gas container it doesn't work on is those new green top container that Lowes is selling. It is impossible to stick the suction part into it. It has like a plastic grated edges on the spout. You cannot remove it either. I have two 5 gallon ones that I purchased at lowes during Hurricane Idilia which was in The big bend area of North Florida. I'll have to transfer that gas I have left into my older 5 gallon container to use the gas. You will love this syphone pump.

I have been using a more basic Tera Pump model (Similar to TRHA03) for over a year now with no problems. I have no concerns about the longevity of this pump. The pump works. The handle-valve to stop the fuel flow is a nice upgrade over the less expensive pumps; it functions as a quick way to stop the flow if you've over-filled a container. The angled end of this handle seems to work well with a variety of containers and vehicles.Unlike the more basic models, this is not an inexpensive pump so I think it bears pointing out the problems:1. The pump is made from extremely cheap materials. This pump is very toy-like: The switch, the housing, the fake metal plastic tip on the pump, the weird and very thin cut-to-fit type hose; the entire thing feels like a toy. Strangely, this not-inexpensive TREP01-T pump feels even cheaper than my more basic Tera Pump TRHA03.2. They advertise that this is for "up to 20 gallon drums" - It won't get anywhere near all the gas out of the standard 18 gallon Flo-Fast style fuel containers. The telescoping feature of this model will pick up a few more gallons from this type of container than the standard pumps, but it's still not a solution for taller cans.3. This is not a fast pump. I feel like the telescoping pump is slower than my TRHA03. If you want fast transfer of fluids, none of these pumps are probably right for you, but the TREP01-T feels especially slow.Despite these drawbacks, it's still better than trying to lift 100lbs of gasoline to pour it, and there's nothing else on the market that can solve this problem for this price.

I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this pump. It stands out due to its exceptional flow rate, which eliminates the need for me to awkwardly hold a gas can in various positions when filling certain tanks. Holding a 5-gallon gas can can become quite burdensome, making the use of this powered pump a game-changer. Its purpose is specifically to address the difficulty I face when lifting such a heavy amount of gasoline. One notable advantage of using this pump is that it leaves about 1 quart of gas in the hose after fueling, which needs to be drained somehow. However, I have made this process simple and hassle-free, with no resulting mess. The ease and convenience of operating this pump has left a positive impression on me, to the extent that I am considering purchasing another transfer pump in the future.

I LOVE this product. It's always nice to be self-sufficient. We got hit with Hurricane Ian and we needed a much easier way to fill our Predator Generators. It took 2 of us to hold a gas container to fill them. We were without power for 13 days. Instead of lifting 6 gallon containers of gas and sweating my blls off and straining my feminine, southern lady body, I bought this and kept my fingers crossed. It is fabulous. It works like a little gas station pump. The suction is great. I suggest lifting it out of gas can but keeping in can and sucking remaining gas out of pump when you are done; then ensure you hold up the black hose to get all the gas out of the pump. We store in a 5 gallon container, being sure to keep it clean from dirt and sand. I may get a bigger container with a cover. I used it the other day to fill my car up at my house. It was great! I highly recommend, thus far, this product.
