I went over all the reviews and I picked the pump with 2 d batteries, and it has worked every time that I've asked it to even -20 degrees, It hangs in the garage and when I need gas in the tractor I get it out and fill up the tank, and then I drain it and when I need to put #1 diesel in the Mr heater torpedo heater I use it for that, and then I drain it, and it has not failed to pump everything I've asked it to do, great pump, I did get the telescoping option just in case I have to pump out of a barrel.

It works great. Just be sure to buy some spare D-cell batteries.

I'VE HAVE USED THIS PUMP ON A FEW OCCASIONS NOW, AND IT IS VERY SLOW AT PUMPING. MINE DOES NOT COME CLOSE TO PUMPING WHAT THEY ADVERTISE EVEN WITH NEW BATTERIES. IT TOOK OVER 10 MIN TO PUMP OUT 5 GALLONS, WAY TOO SLOW FOR ME IF IT PUMPED AT A FASTER SPEED, IT WOULD BE A GREAT LITTLE PUMP, WELL MADE AND LIGHT. I CONTACTED THEM AND THEY SENT ME A NEW REPLACEMENT NO PROBLEMS. BECAUSE THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT I WOULD BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

I'm happy with the unit, so much easier than pouring a five gallon can.

Nothing is quite so frustrating as holding a 5 gallon gas can in the air while fiddling with the new government mandated gas can nozzles.I've become relatively proficient in defanging the new nozzles to make them easier to use. However, My nozzles rarely get attached to the can anymore.I bought some simple caps and I've been using the AA powered terapump for several years now. When I purchased a riding mower for my mother-in-law, I gave her my old perfectly working terapump and took the opportunity to upgrade to the D cell version for better battery life.Like all things with which I don't want to risk leaking batteries, I use rechargeables. The only warning I would give is that you shouldn't completely trust the auto stop. If your hose isn't in the tank just right, The auto stop can fail so you should stay alert during the filling process with your hand on the off switch.

I recently installed a gasoline transfer tank in my Ford F150. I bought this pump to transfer fuel to my truck when traveling. I recently took a trip to Texas pulling my travel trailer and this pump performed surprisingly well. It worked on one set of batteries with power to spare. It would take about 10 minutes to refuel my truck. The nozzle does not have an automatic shutoff so you have to monitor the filling closely, but other than that I am very pleased with it. It beats spending hundred of dollars for a transfer pump that won't be used that often, and it can be used around the house the rest of the time fueling equipment.

This pump has worked great for me. Gas on the lake costs $1-$3 per gallon MORE than at the regular station (for non-ethanol). I fill 5-6 large cans and then transfer to the boat using this pump. If the boat is up on the lift, the flow rate is a bit slower than advertised but if he boat is down in the water, it runs quick. Very convenient. Has worked flawlessly for one season so far and has paid for itself in savings.
