The instructions were a little confusing but I finally figured out I needed an adaptor. Ordered one, it didn't work, so I tried this on my husband's newer iPad. It works well and I like that it's on a sturdy pole. I had wanted to use it outside but I don't want to risk damage to the nice iPad so I haven't used it much.

The inspection tool is great if you need to check out hard-to-see spots. i had a clogged drain and this let me find the problem super fast. The five-foot pole is solid, and the light is good and bright. connecting to my phone was easy and picture was clear. The instructions that came with are easy to follow. I'm also planning on using it to look for some lost screws behind my dryer next. I should do it soon. It’s a pretty fair price considering what it does. I recommend it for anyone doing home DIY, I should use it more often. There are multiple settings for the camera. I can adjust light, take still photos and record video.

I have an a Google Pixel 9 Pro and I was able to use this just fine. This was much easier to use than a previous flexible camera I purchased because it's stiff and I'm much more able to tell which way is up and what I'm looking at. I was able to use this to inspect all of my drainage pipe around my property and found several clogged sections and even a broken pipe! This saved me hundreds of dollars from having to have some one come out and run their own cameras. Now I know exactly where I need to dig up to fix it this spring. Overall I'm very happy with it.

This Teslong telescopic camera is absolutely fantastic! It's exactly what I needed for inspecting hard-to-reach places around my house. The 5-foot telescopic pole is a game-changer, allowing me to easily extend the camera into walls, ceilings, pipes, and even my chimney without having to climb or contort myself. The image quality is surprisingly clear and crisp, providing a detailed view of whatever I'm inspecting. The built-in light is a huge help, illuminating dark areas effectively.I've used it for everything from checking the ductwork in my HVAC system to inspecting the inside of a drain pipe, and it's performed flawlessly every time. The USB-C connection is a welcome addition, making it compatible with both my iPhone and Android phone. The setup was incredibly easy – just plug it in, download the app, and I was ready to go. The app itself is user-friendly and intuitive, allowing me to easily capture photos and videos. The telescopic pole is sturdy and easy to extend and retract. It locks securely in place, so I don't have to worry about it collapsing while I'm using it. The camera head is also small and maneuverable, making it easy to navigate through tight spaces. I was particularly impressed with the durability of the camera and the pole. It feels well-made and capable of withstanding regular use. If you're looking for a versatile and reliable inspection camera, this Teslong model is a must-have. It's saved me time, money, and a lot of hassle. Five stars!

Good quality borescope that has a very useful telescopic arm to get in those hard to reach places. Camera housing is too thick for use in rifles unfortunately, however its not really designed for that.

Feel like I already got my moneys worth even though I got it for free. I have a washer and dryer in my house that are in a closet and when things fall behind or beside them it's just about impossible to get them because you have to take both the washer and the dryer out which is a pain in the butt to the point where I just don't do it.With this handy device I have fished out 3 items that I had lost and largely forgotten about until I saw this was available. I never even considered a device like this before but it's been a godsend. The attachments that come with it are the real heroes! The hook and the magnet? *Chefs kiss*This is one of those things where you don't use it often but when the situation calls for it you become a hero. But beware, once people know you have this power, you will be called upon to use it!Easy to use, and supremely useful, would definitely recommend.

This is really easy to use and the perfect height for inspecting the drop ceiling in the basement. The video feed was clear, well lit and perfectly responsive. Very happy with this and while it's not always the right tool for the job (sometimes I prefer a completely semi-flexible cable), it's a lot more comfortable to use in many cases.

The telescopic camera is really helpful for checking out those hard to reach places. The picture quality is good enough to see what's going on, but the light could definitely be brighter. It's a cool feature that you can adjust it, but I found myself wanting it to be a lot brighter than the max setting. You can control the camera using the app on your phone, which is convenient, but it would be nice if you could use the camera without the app. You actually have to have the app open to see what the camera sees in real time. Also, you need to connect it to your phone with a USB-C cable which is attached to the bottom of the telescopic camera. . If you have an older iPhone, you'll need to get an adapter. Other than that, it's really easy to hold thanks to the foam handle. Telescopic camera pole extends far which gives good reach. You are able to bend the part that has the camera and lights so you can reach tight spaces or look with a different viewing angle. In the app, you can take a video and or picture. You can view the footage live in black and white or color. Can also rotate the screen so you can see it in portrait and landscape.I'll definitely be using this for when my cat decides to knock something under the oven and when summer rolls around, I will be using this in my engine bay and under my car when doing maintenance and inspection.

I tested this Teslong inspection camera in various conditions and angles. The day was cloudy and overcast. As with any camera, proper lighting is key. But, with this unit, it is critical. Even though the camera has an adjustable LED light on the tip, that light is totally insufficient. Also, any backlighting whatsoever will render the photos nearly unusable. In two of the photos you will see an issue with photo orientation. From an above view I pointed the camera in one direction and orientation was upright but just a turn of the wrist and orientation is upside down. This needs improving. The app that you download for viewing is woefully short on settings and features as I would like the option to adjust orientation in that manner. The photos I've provided are grouped in two's. The photos showing a car wheel and then the wheel well illustrates the lack of any kind of detail if you would wish to inspect something behind the wheel. Let's say brake discs, suspension, backside of tire, etc. You may find some use such as inspecting roof gutters, back side of fences, behind large appliances but any inspection must be accompanied by plenty of light. The other photos show how even the slightest lack of light affects the shots. Overall I would not recommend this product.

ITEM REVIEWED : Teslong Telescopic Camera with Light, USB-C Borescope with 5FT Telescopic Pole____________________________________________________________________________________________It works great with my older Samsung Galaxy S9 which has a USB-C port. ***BUT*** I had to dig out the original Samsung box, which I still had buried somewhere, to find the OTG adapter that came with my Galaxy S9 when I originally bought it! ...and apparently on newer smartphones you need to enable OTG in settings. It will not work with my new iPhoneSE because it has the older iPhone Lightening port on it... I have not tried to see if it would work if I had a "Lightening to USB-C" adapter connector to use with it... I'll try to update this review in the future IF I'm able to test this option out. According to the description, it should work well on new iPhones (15+16) that come with USB-C ports. This is not just another borescope camera. This camera has a nifty telescopic arm which alone is 4" longer than 5 feet long. Other borescope cameras typically have a nice stiff flexible cable on their ends which work great, but if you need to see straight along, or straight up they don't hold up. This is where this borescope camera excels! It's easy to check out how many leaves you have in your eaves trough just by walking around your house (if you have a one floor house!). OK, when going around the back of my house I had to tape on a 3 foot long stick/dowel to the bottom end to make it just a little longer... but it worked GREAT!!! I've used it to peak up into my roof attic/crawl space. It makes looking down a chimney or air return easy because the camera end isn't flopping around. Even just extending it partially allows me to look around in the engine compartment of my car to see things/parts of it that I can't normally or easily see. The (brightness adjustable) light at the camera end is of great help too. You'd be surprised how much that light helps to see stuff. I'm surprised that lowering the brightness sometimes even makes what you're looking at easier to see.The package also includes 3 little nifty camera end attachments. One is a little mirror so you can easily see side ways. One has a little hook at the end to help you hood and pick up something. The last attachment has a small magnet on the end to help you pick up small metal objects... like a dropped nut down the side of your engine block! And think of how easy this would be to use to see and pick up something that dropped behind or under furniture!A handy tool to have on hand.

As someone who does a lot of DIY repairs, I often have occasions when being able to see in/under small areas would be extremely helpful whether it's to analyze a situation or find that screw or washer that rolled away. This camera has already come to my rescue after losing a washer under an elliptical machine. While I thought it was there, I wasn't too excited about having to move the entire piece of equipment to check - black washer on a dark carpet LOL. The camera allowed me to quickly see it making retrieval easy. If you're particular about cleaning - it's a great way to see if an area needs attention i.e. under the refrigerator, stove, etc. Sometimes it's best to find something out "remotely" to prepare oneself & the long pole allows for distance. LOLThe image quality is very impressive, including magnification & being able to control the brightness of the light with just a roll of the finger is really convenient. The camera end is flexible yet stiff enough to remain where positioned. Although an app is needed, it is a quick download and simple to use. Just plug the camera in, extend it as needed and done.As a bonus, the camera comes in a great box perfect for protecting it in storage. I really like this camera & know it'll come to my rescue again and again.
