Construction. The Gun Rack is made of superior quality material - Ash-Tree, which makes them strong and sturdy. The compact design means it’s perfect for any space. They are very durable and will last for years! They can be also used for storage and displaying swords and sabers in cases.

I have a custom recurve bow made with laminated wood. It is 65 years old, survived many tournaments and deer hunts. Years later it was retired to a closet. I decided I wanted a way to display it. After looking at options, I ordered this gun rack. The quality, the wood grain, and ease of installation was great. The 2 hangers with installation instructions and installation hardware were well packed in a sturdy box. The price was exceptional.

I am not the handiest person when it comes to DIY projects, but even I was able to mount this rack on my wall in a matter of minutes. The quality of the brackets themselves is very nice: sturdy and an attractive finish. I deducted one star for the following reasons:1) the mounting hardware is cheap and insufficient for the task. I had to mount one bracket in drywall without a stud so I used the screw-in plastic anchors provided. I tried two of them, each broke in half as I screwed the anchors into the drywall. The anchors are thin plastic and also strange because they have flattened tips, so you have to pre-drill a 1/4" hole in the drywall before you can start screwing them in. I found some metal screw-in anchors I had lying around and used those instead. They have pointy tips so pre-drilling is not necessary. The screws themselves are ordinary course-thread black drywall screws.2) There was no template provided. Even for a fairly proficient handyman such as myself, there's still a lot of extra work you need to put into finding the correct screw placement. While I was able to mount the brackets fairly easily, I can see this being much more of a challenge for those not as experienced in these types of things. I can definitely see those who don't have the correct tools , the elderly or those not very good with their hands having difficulty installing these. If a simple template were provided, this would vastly increase the DIY percentage of purchasers of this product not having to rely on others' assistance.3) The material in the U-shaped portion of the brackets is soft but slippery. My side-by-side 12 gauge kept canting to one side or another when I was placing the gun in the holder. I am going to line each bracket with a foam or rubbery tape of some sort that provides more friction so the gun stays where I place it. As other reviews have suggested, a "V" shaped notch might work better.4) The price: I paid $32.80 not including tax. If better hardware and a template were provided, I think this would be an OK price but at is, I would say the value is about $25 to $27 dollars even in these inflationary times.

Freunde von Dekostücken der "besonderen Art" kennen sicher das Problem, wie man seine Schätze halbwegs stilsicher aufbewahrt und dabei noch passend bewundern (lassen) kann. Abhilfe schaffen da Halterungen dieser Art, die aber oft genug ziemlich ins Geld gehen können. Günstigere Varianten bestehen oft aus irgendwelchem Pressspan oder anderen minderwertigen Materialien, was auch nicht immer im Gusto des Sammlers liegt.Der Hersteller TESLYAR versucht auf diesem Markt mit Lösungen aus Echtholz zu moderaten Preisen zu überzeugen und betrachtet man sich die Produktpalette des amerikanisch-europäischen Familienunternehmens stellt man schnell fest, dass hier offensichtlich die Quadratur des Kreises erfolgreich versucht wurde. Holz aus FSC-zertifizierten Quellen (ja, das muss nichts bedeuten...) oder speziellen "Baumfarmen", Herstellung außerhalb Asiens (auch Europa wird hier gerne mal genannt) und eine recht innovative Produktpalette sprechen für den Hersteller, auch wenn der Firmenname schon ein wenig an eines der zahlreichen chinesischen Unternehmen, die wie Pilze aus dem Erdboden sprießen, sprechen könnte.Aber zum konkreten Produkt: Mir selbst ging es hauptsächlich darum, meine "Sammlung" asiatischer Schwerter, die ich noch aus dementsprechend sportbegeisterten Jugendzeiten herumliegen habe, sicher und doch auch endlich mal ein wenig sichtbarer (bisher gammeln die Dinger auf dem Dachboden vor sich hin, viel zu schade) aufzubewahren. Die Aussparungen der Halter passen auch für diesen Zweck und sind durch ihre gepolsterte Innenseite auch noch schonend zum Ausstellungsstück. Noch wichtiger ist aber sicher das sehr wertige Aussehen der Holzteile, die klassisch recht edel lackiert sind und auch schön wuchtig in der Hand liegen - Holz eben und kein Pressspan. Für knapp 23 Euro (Stand 8.7.2022) ist das schon eine Ansage. Die Anbringung erfolgt pragmatisch mit Hilfe einer Aufhängung an der Rückseite der Wandhalter, die passenden Schrauben zur Montage liegen bei, so dass man nur das entsprechende Werkzeug parat halten muss - so muss das sein!Klasse Produkt, in herausragender Qualität und wenn die Geschichten vom Familienunternehmen und der umweltbewussten Holzherkunft stimmen, dann darf man hier auch noch mit halbwegs gutem Gewissen einkaufen - klare Empfehlung.
