I glued three super strong ceramic block magnets on the back of my new mailbox "flag" and attached it that way to my metal mailbox lid. There is no chance it will fall off. I think magnets are a much better solution than screw holes in my mailbox, or the provided double-stick tape. My mail-carrier loves it. In all fairness, this is a plastic product (though well constructed) and I expect it to become a victim to the elements (mainly the hot Texas sun) and fail sooner than later. Hopefully not. That's probably another reason for using magents and not screw holes in the mailbox.

Nice solution for putting a flag on a mailbox with a brick enclosure. Easily attached using the included screws and nuts, I expect they will last longer than the double stick tape that was also included.Since this item features Texas, you might expect it to ship from Texas. It does, the place is about 20 miles from my house. Yet it took the USPS 16 days to deliver it to my house, traveling just over 1 mile per day! So slow when you've been spoiled by Prime, but it did arrive a day before the end of the estimated delivery window.
