did not fit , shaved with knife to get to fit, really worried about the fit. transmission pan would not go on do to filter. I will buy from dealer next time.

While getting ready to install this product the metal spring on the back of the filter fell complete off and could not be repaired. I drove to my local NAPA auto parts store and purchased a new filter and it was a higher quality and worked great. Save your time and money and visit NAPA.

This one looks and fit just like the original on my 2018 Colorado V6 8speed. The problem being that the spring clip that keeps tension on the filter while in the transmission kept coming loose and falling off. Since I had the pan dropped and fluid drained, I didn't want to wait for a return and replacement. Added addtional frustration to an already frustrating experience. Bought a different one for the second ATF change.
