Your cart is empty.The 5" vertical extension allows the motor to be mounted 5" higher than the standard mounting height on the transom. It is a must for conversion from prop to jet drive. Another application includes mounting the 5" vertical extension on a hydraulic jack plate to raise the motor higher on shallow running boats that are equipped with tunnel extensions.

Very very well made I was shocked.I used it to lift my 9.9. Transom is 20inch my motor is 25inch. Was able to lift it right where I needed it.Shipped was great was in NE OH 2 days after purchasing.

So I ended not needing this bracket after doing a dry fit. But I will say this thing is very well made and sure looks good when installed. Feels and looks like a high quality product. Wish I had needed to use it because of how clean it looks on the boat!

The product looks exactly as described so very happy on that score......but, it's the delivery time I'm most impressed with. I'm in Auckland, New Zealand. I purchased the item on the 1st of March. It said to expect delivery on the 19th of March which I would have been happy with especially with Covid causing issues with delivery times elsewhere. Instead, it arrived today the 8th of March. Installing XL 25” shaft engine on a previously L 20” transom. This product is awesome, not having to do fiberglass work, and sturdy! Do make sure to line everything up well before installing, I matched to engine first, then boat, then did the final install

Great product! My engine bracket was mounted too low from the factory, and this did the trick without having to do a LOT of modification! Picked up 8 mph top end, could have been more with a bigger prop! What I'm saying is that if your setup isn't right, this will raise you up 5 inches and that made my boat run so much better. Super happy! Don't forget to buy the bolts they come separately...

Re-powered from 1985 Johnson 120 hp 20 inch shaft to 2014 Evinrude E-TEC 115 hp 25 inch shaft on a 20 inch transom. I had to plug original mounting holes since the pattern is different on the new motor. The lifting bracket works perfectly but an additional hole must be drilled in the bracket to access the manual power lift release screw.
