My 7yo wishes the alarm went off for longer than 8 seconds. It also tends to go off when there’s nothing around to trigger it. And when you try to jump over it.

Box was ruined and used before. It was a present. And I didn’t opened it immediately when received it. And it was a huge surprise, that I can’t present it. Need to check how it works.

This is fun for the kids to play with. It can be a little finnicky at times and somewhat annoying, but is still cool for a while.

Bought it for a 6 year old months ago and he still loves playing with it. The batteries last a while too. The problem is he likes to set it up when we don't know and then we trip it and the beep is loud and obnoxious. Gets a ton of laughs though and happiness is what matters.

My daughter likes to play spies and has a variety of spy equipment. When we saw this, it seemed like a good addition to her collection. Unfortunately, she thought it was not very interesting and after testing it out in different positions and distances, it just didn’t work very well. We don’t recommend it. It’s just not very good.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: As I've mentioned with Thames and Kosmos' other product I reviewed, this is surprisingly well-made for a fairly inexpensive kid's toy, and especially for the intended audience, this should hold up pretty well.AESTHETIC QUALITY: This definitely has a look of some 'serious spycraft gear', so to speak, and the lights and sound from the alarm on this is decently bright and loud enough.EASE OF USE: The only possible sticking point is the fact that the battery-cover takes a screwdriver to remove, though it does mean that it's impossible for kids to somehow lose it in the process. In terms of its effectiveness, both the vibration-sensor and the motion-sensor are relatively effective; obviously it won't take Ethan Hunt to sneak past this thing, but it's not completely blind either. In the end, it's pretty impressive for again a pretty simple kid's toy.VALUE FOR MONEY: For what you get, so to speak, this is a pretty decent price-point.OVERALL RATING: A rather nice gift for any younger folk you know who to get their start in the world of spycraft.

The kids love this! Do they set it up inside? No. They have it set up somewhere outside where they are playing. Right now they're making up a game having each person move around and try to discover something or another.I'm sure once done outside they'll bring it in and have it set up where I'll be startled by walking by something.Cute for the kids. Nice for learning.
