I originally got this because I’m a little kk techno-crazy when I play magic the gathering. Specifically when I draft I don’t want to accidentally pass a money card that I didn’t know. The issue is the card scanning app needs a white background to easily scan cards. That’s where this mat comes in clutch! I can open a pack and scan the cards super fast with this white background. And because it is a card mat I can also handle and move the cards easily as I scan. Then when I’m done scanning, it is still a great playmat that as mentioned before has a great surface for card manipulation. I also appreciate the red backing as it does give this rather plain mat some pazazz!

I have a white desk and white pc setup. Only thing missing was a white mousepad. This is large and fits my keyboard and mouse together. Makes the look more clean. The quality is good too. It is water resistant.
