I really like this clock. It’s comforting and reminds me of scripture, to help in my journey of faith.

I absolutely love this clock! Jesus Christ is the Center of my life and of my family's, so this clock is the perfect Time Keeper in our family room! And we love James Earl Jones' voice in Prayer! Thank you!

I bought this for a family member. She likes it and to be honest I don’t know how well it runs or keeps time. It looks nice and the family member likes it

First of all is the sound quality, which is “terrible”. Secondly, if anyone were to ask if I would purchase this item again and you can quote me “NO” even if someone else paid for it I would not except that product. That’s my opinion as a first and last time purchaser!!!!!

I appreciate good kitsch—this clock merits that category for anybody who know art, whether devout Christian, some other religion, agnostic, or atheist. But many other reviewers point out one serious flaw: the prayers are very difficult to hear. One would not expect hi-fi for $25, but the only way for anybody with less than perfect hearing to clearly hear the prayers in their melodious deep voice (appears to be Morgan Freeman) is to turn the clock face to the wall to expose the tiny speaker on the back. Alternative would be to listen from the front, not more than one foot away. Also, it would have been nice if the accompanying instructions had given a printed version of the prayers, and maybe references. One unrelated final point: one reviewer had trouble getting the clock to work—it requires 3 AA batteries, but the 3rd slot doesn’t immediately look like it takes a battery, and I had trouble until I noticed the 3rd battery slot was present. Otherwise, seems to work fine.
