Your cart is empty.Tucked away in a remote location in the Rocky Mountians lies the Overlook Hotel. The winters here would shut down this hotel for several months during this time, and thus a caretaker was needed to maintain the boilers on the venue. Two of these cartakers of note were Delbert Grady and Jack Torrance...and we all know how they turned out! We have re-created the axe used by Jack, found somewhere in the hedge maze on the grounds of the Overlook. A full length, battle ready, Firemans Axe with a silver axe head. All axes are unique as small imperfections may be present on the axe head due to this axe having had to chop thru a bathroom door, heres Johnny! This is designed as a prop but the Axe itsself is fully functional. I really like this axe. I bought it mainly for decoration, but it's sharp. I bought a display box for sports jerseys or military items to put it in, tied it to the top bar and was adjusting things, and the axe moved roughly 3 inches, and put a mark from the blade, into the inside of the display box. Good thing the axe came with a rubber boot for the blade. Wasn't expecting it to gouge the display box, but no worries.
