2 stars for quick delivery. I bought two of these planning to keep one for backup. But, the first one failed after 2 days. When I replaced it with the second unit I saw where the “copper” plunger had already started to deteriorate. The backup part experienced same result. Please note that my pool chemistry is spot-on. My previous thermal regulator came with the heater and lasted 6 years. Pictures tell the story.

Product did not function. Poor manufacturing and material quality, junk China product. Don't waste your time and money on this. Received and tested immediately - did not function at any temperature, had to return for refund.

Installed into heater and the heater kept shutting down. Installed a used OEM I had lying around and the problem went away.
