These worked well in my Metcal with no noticeable difference that I can tell. I bought several different tips and they have all performed as they should. I'll be saving money with these from now on.

My job requires rework of many fine electronics and creation of prototypes as part of the design process.This soldering tip is fine enough for fine parts (I work down to 0402 imperial).The best part about these solder tips is that there is no temperature control as they regulate themselves.
