Have an old (30 years) Liahona 24-speed bike. The original bottom bracket had a plastic end and the bearings were getting worn. This fit perfectly and is all metal. The main body is completely sealed and uses a reverse thread (as you'd expect) and the metal "collar" other end is normal thread and fits nice and snug. The old bike is running solid again.

Axle broke off at around 3000 miles. Dark area of fracture indicates it's been cracked for a long time, maybe since the beginning, rough clean area shows where failure rapidly accelerated. Took a hard strike between the legs when this broke off at full sprint in an intersection

Easy install. Works great with my old 1/8th inch fixed gear cranks. Just add a little lube to the threads so they don't seize, which is what brought me here in the first place, lol.

I purchased this because my previous bottom bracket was rattling and was shaving metal everywhere. Turns out this was the first time I've ever found out that you need to replace a bike's bottom bracket (I rode the bike for 3 years without replacing it!). Anyways the product is great and it spins really smooth and the grease is really good. The bearings I believe will last a very long time just keep away from water. In fact this product spins much smoother than my old road bike's bottom bracket. I would recommend it since it's easy to install (considering if you have correct tools) and my pedaling feels much more efficient and smoother. I've only rode for 10 miles but I'll come back to let all of you know how it has handled after a while.

With some of the lower end shimano BB's reaching toward the $50 range I tried this while rejuvenating a bike for my growing son. Came quickly turns smoothly- seems heavier than others Ive used in the past. Is this for a pro racer- no but to get a bike on the road cheaply it will work just fine. Longevity is an unknown but seems well made. Installed without issue - Just order the size you need- I needed 68x122.5 to use with the crankst I ordered and it works fine allowing me to set up front derailleur
