this is the second one i bought . they work great for my needs ,BUT the last one the base was all warped!had to put a small wedge under the base. that's a bummer..

This stand comes in four pieces. Top, base and two center sections which all screw together. Because the pre-drilled bolts are not aligned properly, the assembled stand ends up crooked. I ordered two stands and they both had the same quality issue. Fortunately, the helmets I had were both tall enough to cover nearly 90% of the stand, thus hiding this product defect.

The stand design is nice, but the stand is not stained as shown in the picture. The first one I received had part of it stained but not all of it, and the stain was still wet. I exchanged that one and the second one hardly had any stain on it at all. Nothing like the picture...more of a natural wood color due to minimal stain. That's called false advertising and poor quality control.
