I have been shooting bows for over 25 years and I have always used a relaxed style release because when I learned to shoot a bow I learned on recurve bows and always use my fingers. I picked this up because the manufacturer that makes the releases that I use has gone out of business and nobody else makes the same style so I needed to learn a new way to shoot. This release has a very smooth trigger in a very strong anchor point so you don't have to worry about it swapping around it does hold back to be out of your way while you're in the stand or not needing them so you don't have to take it off. It has an adjustable trigger pull which helps you to tune it did to your desired trigger pull weight. It releases smoothly and I have not had any problems with it releasing on its own. My accuracy has not suffered and I am beginning to feel comfortable with a release that has a trigger you have to pull. It is very easy to put on it stays put. As with everything in archery consistency is key that accuracy perfect shots the buckle strap allows you to know exactly and how tight the release is on your wrist consistently and that will definitely help you improve accuracy
