This t row and catch ball is heavy and hard to throw for kids. When it is thrown it doesn’t go very far and the tail of the ball doesn’t get to flap very well. But my so loves this and he likes the challenge he said it’s like working out. It is fun for kids and the colors are very bright so it’s easily seen. It seems to be a good qualityItem. And a great value for the money. My son and his friends love it. So I am giving this two thumbs up!

This is a set of four comet balls. Each of the comet balls is a 32 inch nylon sock that comes to a point on one end like a cone and on the other end is an enclosed ball. You get the tail of the cone and swing it around above your head and release it, then you or someone else runs quickly to try to grab the tail of the cone in flight This is for safety for children to play with and to make it easier for them to catch the flying balls in the nylon cone. The cones are rainbow colored, and are very bright and will glow at night. Your children can develop games to play with one or two of these, or they can each play with their own comet ball. I’m very impressed with the creativity of this game and I am anxious to try it out with my grandchildren. I think this is a great idea.!

This is a set of four balls. The ball parts themselves feel foamy when you squeeze them. There is a slight weight at the end to make the comet tail drag behind them nicely. Good for tossing around outdoors or indoors, since they are soft. Colorful and fairly lightweight also.

Our one daughter loves playing toss & catch or any game with a ball. She's a movement kid and in the winters when it's below zero, like now, it's hard to find movement games that involve a ball or something you throw that won't destroy the house.I was pleasantly surprised with how soft and cushy the ball at the head of the comet was. It's like a squish ball, so we are able to toss it around (not at full speed of course) in the house without destroying anything it hits.It's also perfect for throwing indoors for the dog.For outdoors, this comet would need to be slung like a sling shot to go any real distance, but that's the fun of it. It's not the farthest comet you'll ever see or throw, but it's nice for kiddo's in the back yard and all. Nice light and easy to carry so also great for the beach, picnics, pool, etc. Lots of uses for this!!!Definitely recommend!

I had a similar toy/game to these as a kid called "Fox Tail" and I have not been able to find them anywhere so my kids can also enjoy the game... Until now! I am so excited for the weather to break so I can teach them how to play this game. These "Comet Balls" are very well made in very vivid bright colors to make them easy to spot when flying through the air. The $20 price point for a set of 4 of these is beyond perfect! The balls are soft, so no worries about injuries and can be played by all ages - even toddlers still learning to catch and throw. Fantastic!

While the design of this throw-and-catch ball with a rainbow tail is colorful and fun, it’s a bit too lightweight to throw effectively. It works okay for gentle play with younger kids, but it’s not ideal for outdoor games with stronger throws. A cute concept that could use a bit more heft.

I saw these at my kids' field day last year, each child had to see how far they could swing these things up in the air and I just thought they were so cool, I had to have some! These are light weight mesh balls with tails that can be used in a ton of different ways to play! My kids mostly just wing them up in the air, but they have so much fun with it. I have 3 girls so each girl has one and an extra if something happens to one of them. I don't have anything bad to say about this product, just buy it and get your kids outside and you'll see why they love them!
